Cheryl Anderson, M.H.Sc., R.D. (She/Her)

Cheryl is a Registered Dietitian with a Master of Health Science in Nutrition Communication from Toronto Metropolitan University. As a family health dietitian, Cheryl is passionate about supporting children and adolescents with autism, ADHD, and ARFID (avoidant or restrictive food intake disorder) manage feeding and nutrition challenges using a neurodiversity-affirming approach.

Cheryl's journey to becoming a Registered Dietitian was sparked by her personal experience as a mom of two picky eaters. Faced with a deluge of conflicting nutrition information online, she realized the need to translate complex nutrition science into practical advice for families. Cheryl has additional training in food security, pediatric nutrition, and swallow screens and assessments. Cheryl now works as a freelance nutrition writer and nutrition counselor. She is eager to bring peace to your family's dinner table.

In her free time, Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family, hiking with her dogs, and recipe testing.
