Leanda Barbisan, M.Sc. (She/Her)

Occupational Therapist

Leanda received her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto in 2002. She has worked in pediatrics for the majority of her career and has experience working with children of all ages in a wide variety of clinical settings. Leanda joined Flourish in September 2021. 

Leanda believes in working with the child and their family in a strength-based approach to help achieve the client's goals. She is currently employed by Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital in the Integrated Education and Therapy program and is an Assistive Devices Program (ADP) authorizer for mobility devices. She is a member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.

Leanda was born in South Africa and came to Canada when she was 11. She now lives in The Beaches and enjoys skiing, hiking and travelling with her husband and 3 sons.
