Nicole Shrott, B.A., B.Ed., O.C.T., M.Psy. Candidate (She/Her)
Nicole is an Ontario Certified Teacher with additional qualifications in special education. Throughout her teaching career, Nicole has dedicated herself to working with children and adolescents, focusing on Executive Function training, Direct Instruction, skill-building through school work, and fostering cohesion within the family. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology with minors in Education and Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University, followed by her Bachelor of Education from York University.
Nicole is currently pursuing her Master of Psychology at Adler Graduate Professional School and is eager to apply her skills to support children, teenagers, parents, and families as a Psychologist Associate. As a creative educator and therapist, Nicole employs both a skills-based and strength-based approach, ensuring that her clients feel supported and empowered.
Outside of her professional life, Nicole loves to travel, enjoy the outdoors, and embrace her creativity. You might find her hiking with her dog Nola, swimming, biking, practicing yoga, cooking, or painting. Nicole cherishes quality moments with family and friends and unwinds with a good book, podcast, video game or TV show.
